Emergent behavior and exponential decay in thermodynamically consistent inertial spin models
报告摘要:In this talk, we propose two thermodynamically consistent inertial spin (TIS) models that describe the collective dynamics of interacting particles with spin and temperature. These models extend classical inertial spin systems by incorporating thermal effects in a manner consistent with the entropy principle. The modeling framework is based on a Hamiltonian structure and a flocking-type coupling between spin and temperature. We investigate the emergent behaviors arising from these models, such as velocity alignment and the asymptotic vanishing of spins. Furthermore, we establish a mathematical framework to analyze their long-time behavior and derive explicit exponential decay estimates for spin and velocity fluctuations. Several numerical simulations are also presented and compared with the analytical results.

报告人简介:金广辉,理学博士,现任延边大学理学院数学系副教授、博士生导师。2017年毕业于韩国中央大学数学系,获博士学位,曾在国立台湾大学理论研究中心和中央大学非线性偏微分方程研究中心从事博士后研究。主要研究方向为非线性偏微分方程与集群动力学,研究成果发表在 Journal of Differential Equations, Nonlinearity等国际重要学术期刊。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目、吉林省科技发展计划项目等多项科研课题。2024年9月至2025年8月,作为科技部“中韩青年科学家交流项目”入选者,赴首尔大学数学学部任访问教授(Visiting Professor)。曾入选国家天元数学东北中心优秀青年学者奖励计划和吉林省“长白青年英才”计划。
